Distinguished leaders, respectable teachers and dear classmates, Good evening.

It is my great honor to be here on behalf of freshmen of MBA program in PEKING university HSBC business school in 2016. I am humbled to speak in a place that has previously been filled by such excellent people. I know that it is not easy to be up here, so I should now take the change to introduce myself. I am Wang Hui, attending full-time MBA program. Wuhan is my hometown, a city located within thoroughfares of nine provinces and thousands of lakes. Graduated in 2012, I worked as a GM assistant in one of the branches at Humanwell healthcare group, the first private listing hi-tech company in Hubei province.

In the first place, why do we choose further education? The comprehension of hamlet varies from reader to reader, so does the intention of everyone attended here. As a sage once said, everyone is born with his own temperament, which is difficult to be changed, but reading can. Therefore the inner desire to change drives me to choose further education after years of working. Besides，there is another sentence I really like —— When I was a child I ate a lot of food，most of which was long gone and forgotten, but certainly some of it became my very bones and flesh. Think of studying as the same thing for the mind. Every piece of book I read and every unit of time and effort I spent would shape us to a better self.

So why do we choose to study in Peking University HSBC business school? This century-old school has abundant and various on-campus resources. Specifically, she owns international-level faculty and diversified curriculum provision, attracting excellent schoolmates. Therefore，my greatest wish is to acquire systematic business knowledge and solve my confusion in management here. Actually，it is so fortunate for me to be admitted here. I sincerely hope I could take the chance to learn more from professors and alumnus，expecting to be together harmoniously with each other。

Peking University believes in ‘Patriotism, progressiveness, democracy and science’. I feel so proud of being a part of it, which not only comes from her long historical origin and rich culture deposits, but also from her tolerance, like a mother embracing various thinking and all kinds of people.

Studying in Peking university must be the same as keeping company with the greatest soul in the world. They whisper the wisdom to us, just like a harbor making us peace. When I got the shining admission from Peking University HSBC, I know that all the painstaking efforts I’ve taken are worthwhile.
